Gestalt Psychotherapy in Toronto


Hey there, I’m Samantha (she/her), a Gestalt Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) practicing in Downtown Toronto. I hope to support people to find ease in their expression of self, and share that with the world. 

Areas I specialize in are anxiety & panic, depression, self esteem, existential crises, relationships, life transitions and direction, pain, attachment and co-dependency, and narcissistic abuse recovery.

I work in a judgment free and trauma informed Gestalt framework. Gestalt with me is somatic, creative, and centred in the here and now. We can share through words, or use sensation, images, metaphor, movement, or music when words are not enough.

About Me:

The place in which I find myself now sort of came from an “a-ha” moment. But that’s just one way to tell the story. Of course there’s a different version that is much longer: an accumulation of timelines, other people, learnings, events, sensations, emotions, and realizations that have gathered to deliver me to where I am today in this moment with you.

What is Gestalt?

Gestalt is a bridge for sharing the unexplainable experience of life. It may be the case that no matter how hard you have tried, you cannot seem to understand yourself and cannot be understood by others. You have tried talking about the past, present, and future over and over. Yet somehow, all the talking and thinking is just not enough.
